The cat is a loner, but when her home is destroyed by a great flood, she finds refuge on a ship inhabited by different species and has to bond with them despite their differences. The team "voted" to make real animals, so they recorded real animals for the film. To get the capybara sound, the sound engineer had to go to the zoo and tickle the capybara. However, the sound of a real capybara didn’t match the personality that the capybara character could have, so they used a camel for the sound instead. There is a post-credits scene.. This film is about a time when people (apparently) are disappearing. So in that way, it doesn’t give you hope. But … the Earth is not just about people. It’s also full of animals that sometimes simply live together. Given. This movie makes it seem like they’re very comfortable living together across species. That part is a little silly. But the movie is made in a way that makes the animals somewhat human. And the way they interact gives me a little hope for the planet. Not the people. The planet will be better. As for the people, that remains to be seen. But this movie is a little miracle that will make you laugh and it’s a fun 1½ hour long movie.
