It’s only for those… Read all. I had a chance to see this movie in advance and I’m glad I didn’t have to pay for it because it was really mediocre. Starting with the worst part: the script is completely empty and the humor is just silly without a trace of wit. Vulgarity is everywhere, which would be fine if there was at least some subtlety, but no, it’s just vulgarity for vulgarity’s sake, probably for a certain type of audience. In short, there is not much to say about this French comedy. Of course, Michèle Laroque and Gérard Darmon are experienced actors with nothing to prove, but what were they doing in this disaster? However, the pleasant surprise is the male lead, whom I didn’t know before, but he gives a solid performance and adds a bit of value to the film. Another thing I enjoyed was the opening scenes with the kidnappers which were shot well but unfortunately the rest of the movie didn’t move forward.
